There’s a person
behind the numbers

My name is Ashleigh, and I started ASHSA Accounting because I believe small business owners deserve better than being handed off to a junior clerk at a large firm who doesn’t know their name.

I fell into bookkeeping, discovered I was good at it, and never looked back. Over 15 years I’ve worked across a wide range of businesses — from owner-managed companies to complex operational clients — and what’s kept me passionate is the same thing every time: taking something chaotic and making it clear. Getting numbers to balance. Giving a business owner the visibility they need to actually run their business.

I specialise in catch-up and backlog bookkeeping — the work most bookkeepers avoid. If your books are behind, disorganised, or haven’t been touched properly in years, that’s exactly where I do my best work.
